Calvin didn't really notice Vivian's intense stare, at least not until a few seconds before she averted her eyes, which made her slight blush puzzling to him. Although he and Vivian had always been very, very close and her clear dislike of Katie worried him more and more, he'd never really suspected that she was obsessed with him. She had her own life, after all - she went to her parties and had her boyfriends (many of whom Calvin wasn't particularly fond, although he rarely said anything). All in all, their lives were, at least to a certain extent, pretty separate. "Are you okay, Viv?" Calvin asked in concern, lifting her chin a little so she'd look at him.
"And no, I wasn't planning on going anywhere. I'd much rather just stay here with you. If that's okay." Looping his arms gently around her neck, he tugged her up against his chest, in much the same way he would hold Katie if it were her and not his sister. "I just want you to be okay, Viv."
