It just happened to me, too - Sorry! OO
Vivian smiled at her little brother, snuggling closer to him. Cal always saw himself as less than he was, but he was always there when she needed him, and he was truly perfect in every way... Calvin probably saw her as something more like a protector for all of his moments...
This was sort of a routine - she would ask him to go with her to a party but he would always be hesitant. She never knew whether or not she would win, however. "Is this the part where you tell me you turned down your little girlfriend, too?" She twisted her lips a bit. Calvin knew that she didn't enjoy his having a girlfriend, but he didn't really know the half of it. She truly wondered if she could say that she hated the girl. A pang of guilt hit her - this was Calvin's GIRLFRIEND. He was in LOVE with her! So why didn't his happiness in that situation help? When he pulled her closer she felt his concern, his love, and she drew herself to him, laying her head on his shoulder. "You know I love you, right? Like... more than anyone ever could?" She looked into his eyes, worried. Jesus. Her lack of sleep was making her paranoid. Vivian tightened her hold on her younger brother.
She winced - she had known that he would react that way, but still. "Don't stress yourself, love. I should be fine..." But would she? What if something happened? Like, she fell asleep and woke up screaming, with no pillow to stifle her noises? Suddenly, she was really reconsidering going to this party... "Um... I don't know what to do, Cal." She told him, uncertainty straining every syllable. "But if I stay home, will you stay with me? While I sleep? Like, you wouldn't need to be quiet or anything, and you totally don't have to..."
