Calvin smiled. "I'm no knight, Viv," he said, just a little guiltily. If he really were a knight, he'd probably be going to the party despite his dislike of the very idea, and despite his tiredness. Katie was going, after all, and he didn't really want her to be alone, especially since he'd been having some weird visions recently of her doing... strange things. Still, he was selfish enough to decide to stay home anyway. Katie would take care of herself, right? He had even thought about asking Vivian to watch out for her, but by this point he knew better. For whatever reason, Vivian didn't like his girlfriend, which never ceased to concern him, but at least he knew about so he wouldn't make the mistake of intentionally putting them together in the same room.
"Stupid dreams, huh?" Calvin took her little shove and then reached out and put an arm around her, snuggling his head against her shoulder. "What kind of stupid dreams? I'm sorry I woke you up. You really need the sleep, I think."
