Alfie gladly took the bottle back. It was getting easier and easier to drink now that he had some of it in his system. He could definitely feel it pushing him down, down, down until his brain felt as flat as a pancake. Thinking complex thoughts was getting more and more difficult by the minute, and as he finished off the bottle, his arm stretched out instinctively for another. "Maybe, I dunno," he said, not really wanting to inflate his brain again to consider such a massive idea.
"You can trust me," he said, cloudy eyes staring at her in the dim light. A small smirk appeared on his lips, and he clumsily dragged himself over to where she was sitting, perhaps situating himself closer to her than he had intended. His arm draped around her like he had seen in those movies where the guy was taking the girl out on a date to a movie and suavely wrapped his arm around her. "I wouldn't tell anyone about you. No one. Cross my heart."
