Macy had always thought Tristan was nice enough. They'd had a few classes together at some point or another and they were on friendly terms. She never had a problem with him, anyways. She tried to help him out whenever he needed it, and he always seemed pretty grateful, for the most part. "Where are you coming from?" She figured work, but she didn't want to assume. Macy was a very unassuming person.
She shifted her bag off her shoulders to shove the papers inside. She still had a bit to go before she got to the beaches anyways. And it was easier to talk empty-handed.
"Are you planning on donating some canned goods?" She replaced the backpack to its previous position.
