Luke grinned from ear to ear as Geri sang. Oh yeah, she knew this song. At the refrain he chimed in with perfect Fleetwood Mac-ish sounding harmonies. "Don't stop thinking about tomorrow. Don't stop - it'll soon be here. It'll be better than before; yesterday's gone, yesterday's gone." Luke had been thinking a lot about that song since he'd been back on the island, and it had definitely gone through his head while he was stuck in the psych ward or whatever the hell it was. It was cheery and optimistic and exactly what he needed. And good advice, for that matter.
Luke turned to look at Geri when the song was over and was about to suggest another one, but she headed him off with a question. He was pretty sure from "can I ask you something," that she was going to ask about what it was like in a mental hospital. Or off the island. Honestly, he didn't really mind. He'd probably get sick of answering the question eventually, but for now he was fine with telling the story. Plus, there really wasn't a whole lot to tell. "Honestly Geri, it wasn't as glamorous as you might think. Granted, I got off the island, but honestly, I was only out on my own for a day and a half before they caught me and shipped me off to that facility place. And trust me, there was nothing interesting about that facility place." Well. Except all the strange stuff he'd overheard there, but he wasn't going to go into that now.
