Luke grinned. "Well, hey, if everyone wants to take my daring-slash-idiotic escape attempt that way, I certainly won't complain. Ow!" he waggled his finger at her. "Carefu1! I don't mind if you punch me, but Stevie here's a delicate instrument." He patted his guitar affectionately and continued to strum lazily. Looking over at her cell phone, Luke scanned through the lyrics quickly, plucking a few experimental chords as he did. "Whoa, Emily's really good." Huh. He didn't know Evan's little sister very well, but he did vaguely know that she wrote poetry. He nodded, "Yeah, we should definitely do something with this!" He smirked at her puppy face. Aww.
"But hey, do you wanna just do some jamming first to get warmed up?" Luke carefully reset Stevie on her guitar stand and hopped off the bed to sit in front of his keyboard. Switching it on, he ran his fingers down the keys and played a few random chords before settling into one the opening chords of one of his favorites, Fleetwood Mac's "Don't Stop."> "You know this one?"
