"Well I'm certainly glad for that. Everyone seems to be cool with it and not afraid of me or whatever so that's definitely good." He played a little guitar lick as she came over and sat. He'd really missed his guitar. Luke was confident about many things, but for whatever reason his music had never made it onto the list. Perhaps it was because, even though he knew he was a good artist, he'd never really been sure of his talents as a musician, mostly because he'd never really tried to display them. At least, not until the talent show. And if those results had been any indication, apparently must be doing something right. Still, it would be exciting to be in a band, particularly with Geri - he knew she was a good musician, and he was hoping that maybe working with her would make him better, too.
He smiled at the light in her face, glad she was excited. Likely, she was just as excited as he was. "Sounds perfect. Singer-songwriters kinda stuff with a bit of a rockier edge? I'm definitely down with that." His fingers absently began picking the opening strains of "The Wing and the Wheel," as he smiled at her. "I don't know how great I'll be with singing. I haven't really done much of it except for that talent show stuff. Have you got any music in mind?"
