Luke smirked as Mao shrank from the joke. Honestly, Luke hadn't really meant anything by bringing in girls. He'd just gotten really into bragging. He couldn't quite understand why Mao was shrinking away from the conversation, though - it seemed like most of the time in their comment wars his number one thing was to bring things back to sex. But whatever. He could be done bragging.
Mao, however, apparently wasn't. Luke grinned as the other boy extended his analogies, Luke's chest puffing up just a little as Mao spoke. Obviously it was all in fun and Mao probably didn't really mean it. At least... not much. That was the thing with conversations like this. With Mao, such topics tended to walk the line between reality and fiction, which made them a little confusing, but also a little exciting, and Luke could feel his skin prickling in a pleasant way as he listened to Mao's half-joking compliments.
Luke rolled his eyes. "Uh-uh Mao. Not going in there. You can make fun of me all you want, but you'd be like this too if you'd nearly drowned in that bay."
