[Sorry this took so long T_T]
"Maybe, although that has an equal chance of making us seem like we're weirdo freakazoids. But I can snoop around a little and ask probing questions and then report back." Luke had a lot of friends on the island, after all, and he felt pretty confident in his ability to wheedle information out of people. Hopefully that skill would serve him well, and their list would grow. Of course, he would have to keep it in a paper journal, since he was now almost positive that the online journal system was rigged or monitored or something. It made sense, considering the fact that they apparently all had fucking tracking chips buried somewhere in their bodies.
Looking at the the almost-list, Luke pushed his lips out for a moment in thought and then scratched "Mimicry" in the sand next to his name. He then made a series of X's in the sand and wrote "Future sight, Past sight," and, after another moment of thought about how to word it, "Intangibility" next to it. "Maybe. Actually, we should probably keep an eye out for people with super strength. I bet that one would be par for the course, too."
He was surprised to hear that James didn't really believe Mao, although he guessed that maybe Mao had just presented the idea in such an out-there way that James didn't really understand it. Oh well. James was a douche anyway, so Luke didn't really dwell on it much. "I don't know. I guess it depends on whether they're suspicious or not. I think maybe we should try to convince people that it's okay for us to talk about our powers. That way, when we find someone with weird abilities we can be like, 'no really, this person and this person and this person have powers too.'"
