"Em..." Calvin wished he really did know what to do. "I can't even get him to talk to me right now. I don't even know if Josie's having any luck, and she's his twin sister. So don't feel bad that you can't help him out of this particular rut, okay? As far as what to do about him..." Calvin was silent for a minute or so. "Take it slow. Okay? Be his friend. Let him heal. I'll do what I can to hint at things, if you want, but for now... I think he just needs some time. Obviously he needs to get out of his room, too, but that's beside the point."
Calvin nodded, his features still twisted a little from psychological pain. "Yeah, that's exactly why I was so nervous about Katie. And I was having dreams about the hurricane weeks before it happened. I had no clue that you would be the cause, though. It's... it's terrible, Em. I can see these things, but as far as I know there's nothing I can do to actively stop them from happening. I haven't told anyone but Katie, Vivian, and now you, but I think Mao might suspect something, and who knows how many people he might've told." Calvin sighed heavily and rubbed his temples. "And as far as I can tell there's no good way to control it. The visions just... come. Without warning. Well... I get a splitting headache a few minutes beforehand, but there's nothing I can really do about it. And when I'm having them I just... I'm out of it. And sometimes, like during the camping trip, I pass out. It's really scary, Em." His lips trembled a little. "And no, I haven't seen anything directly involving you, at least not yet. But consider it a blessing. Seriously."
