As Josie got up, Brendan remained sitting there for a moment. He felt her face as it slid along his and he got a small hint of her scent. She smelled as gorgeous as she looked. It was sweet but sexy and completely intoxicating, and he wanted more of it. His eyes followed her to the floor as she moved through the crowd. She definitely wasn't hard to look at. In actuality, he was working and shouldn't have left the bar but knew it would be worth it. He prayed that all the fun wasn't going to run out in one night.
Brendan smirked again at her when she gazed back at him from over her shoulder. He made his way over to her slowly, passing through the crowd after her. Instead of following a straight path to her, he deviated and disappeared into the rest of the crowd. Playing a little game of hide and seek but kept her still insight.
He closed his eyes and focused for instant to bring the lights in the room down just a fraction less than they were before. It was harder now to see the faces in the room, making the game more interesting.
