Oh. God. This was a nightmare. The whole point of asking Katie what she wanted to do was so he could have a baseline for what was even possible. Although there were plenty of things that Calvin wanted, he didn't necessarily want to say them. Part of it was that he was afraid Katie somehow wouldn't like him anymore if he did, and the other part was... well... her brother was in the next tent over, and this was the same brother who had, on more than one occasion, threatened Calvin's testes, which was definitely not something to be taken lightly, no matter what Katie said.
But at least lying down was a start; his arms really were starting to go a little numb. He opened the sleeping back and let Katie crawl in first, but before he did he thought about something. "What about this," he offered, wiggling out of his shirt. At least that was one way of... furthering things. Calvin wasn't as self-conscious about the choice as he thought he would be, either. He wasn't the most muscular boy around, but rock climbing had definitely given him some tone. It was a little strange to feel Katie's shirt as he nestled in beside her, though.
