"I won't tell." She turned her head to gently kiss his neck, then faced forward again. "They're in piles in my room. Lots of them. I gave one to Lexie Tibbits for baking me brownies, so I had to make an extra one. I'm almost done." This was a lie. She was completely done, but she didn't want him to know yet. It was going to be a surprise-- one she'd give to him the next time he worked.
"My mom and dad are really curious about them. But they think its just a hobby that I picked up when I was stuck in my room. I think they're getting annoyed by them, to be honest, but I don't really care. They've got a good reason to be around."
