Sleep? The last thing on Calvin's mind was sleep. Well... okay, maybe it had crossed his mind a few times as he lay there, quite awake, waiting for Katie to come over to his far-less-crowded tent. His body tensed a little when his straining ears caught the sound of her footsteps coming closer and closer toward his tent, and he'd already half-unzipped his door by the time she called his name. "Come on in," he whispered to her, smiling although she wouldn't be able to see it in the dark. "There's lots of room."
"Lots" maybe have been a bit of an exaggeration. There was room in the little, two-person tent of Calvin's, and there was certainly going to be more room than Katie would've had in her brother's tent, but it wasn't like the quarters wouldn't be a bit close. Not that it mattered. If anything, that's how Calvin wanted it.
