Who: Lexie and Jacen When: Saturday evening after this Where: The Tibbits house What: Making Jacen's head feel better. Also physics homework. Rating: Probably low Status: Incomplete
Awww, Jacen was adorable. Lexie closed her phone and got up off of her bed, crossing her room to run a brush through her tousled hair. She always liked to look presentable for company. Glancing around her room, Lexie made sure that there were no embarrassing undergarments or extraneous clutter in sight, doing a little straightening here, a little putting away there so her room looked decently clean. Her physics homework lay open on her desk, and she drifted over to it, inspecting it and making a face. Jacen may have remembered everything, but Lexie wasn't so sure that he'd be able to figure this stuff out. Then again, he was smart, and clearly better with numbers than she was. Maybe he'd be an asset. Either way, it would be nice to have the company; recently Lexie felt as if she were a recluse who only ever worked and did homework. Usually, during school, she was more or less a recluse, but school was different from the summer, and Lexie was determined to socialize.
When the doorbell rang, Lexie called, "I'll get it!" and trotted briskly down the stairs, greeting Jacen with a smile. "Hi Mr. Brilliant," she teased, ushering him into the house. "Good to see you! Do you want anything to eat or drink?" If he was going to look over her stupid physics problems, sustenance was the very least she could offer him.
