Ugh. Stupid physics homework. What was the point of making music majors take physics labs anyway? Lexie closed her book and replaced it into her backpack - she'd do more studying later. For now, it was time to attend to the rumbling of her stomach. Pushing herself up off of her bed, Lexie stretched luxuriously and made her way downstairs to the kitchen. One of the very best perks of living at home was the fact that she didn't have to cook for herself very often anymore, and she smiled when she saw her dad in the kitchen, chopping up vegetables for dinner.
"Hey dad!" she greeted him cheerily, entering the kitchen. "Whatcha making for dinner?" Grabbing a glass from the cupboard, she crossed the room to the refrigerator to fill it with water.
