Who: Seth & Jen What: Testing out Seth's new furniture Where: Seth's loft When: Saturday, May 29th Rating: PG-13/R Status: In-Progress Seth was reclining on his recently moved in couch, it was new, so not as broken in as he'd like, but he enjoyed the soft feeling of the leather underneath his fingertips. Only the finest things for Seth Enders' loft. Being the son of the mayor he had grown up accustomed to the best and never expecting anything less. Money was no object, sure, the majority of his things he could never afford on his teacher's salary, but the money in his trust fund certainly could help cover such things. Also the threat of going to the local paper and telling everyone about the project also made sure the funds never ran out. He grinned at that thought, 'I bet mommy dearest never thought of that when she volunteered her only child to be a lab rat.' He resented her alright, also his dad for just going along with it. However, he glanced at his hand, the experiments did have an interesting effect on him. Erasing thoughts, a very useful power when used correctly of course. Difficult to control and make sure that one uses restraint. Kristy was a perfect example of that, erasing thoughts one too many times. But it wasn't his fault really. He didn't help her make the noose, he didn't put it around her neck, and he certainly didn't kick the chair out from under her. She did that all on her own.
Seth was broken out of his thoughts when he heard a knock on his door. He lowered his hand to join his other to link behind his head. That classic smirk of his slipped onto his face as he shut his eyes. "It's open Jen, come on in." Now most would think this a foolish thing to say, how could he know it was Jen on the other side of the door. Easy, he knew her footsteps, he knew her knock, also...it was if he could sense her, her brainwaves, a glimmer of her memories. That's how he knew it was her, that's how he always knew it was her.
