"Ah, they help you to help themselves, got it." Saya chuckled then shook her head at the departing company. As tempting as it was to have a direct line to the drama instructor, she didn't want to jockey herself into a role she didn't earn on her own.
"I know how that goes, there's only so many times you can wander around the island before you feel like you've seen everything," she smiled at him, but didn't look entirely convinced that he was telling the full story. The day that her dad could secure a permit off the island couldn't come fast enough, but it always seemed like their queue on wait list would never go up. "The lighthouse is fun, never can get anyone to come with me though."
She nodded emphatically at his question. "If you're here to spy on what I can do, the least you could do is show me what everyone will be missing."
