Tommy smirked at her comment and left it at that. He pulled open the door and held it for Saya to go into the choir room, following her in. "We need the room to practice, guys." Everyone in the room fell silent and looked at him, clearly annoyed with the disturbance. "Now," he half barked at them. Flustered, everyone grabbed their stuff and sauntered out of the room, leaving him and Saya in the room alone.
He pulled up a chair and sat in it Indian-style. "I didn't want to do it this year." That was a complete lie but he wasn't going to admit that he was too chicken shit to do it this year. "There are a few guys that are really good that are still trying out. I'm easily replaceable. Don't worry." Tommy shrugged and shifted his attention to the song in Saya's hands. "Which role are you singing for?"
