Apparently, the familiar girl had made it this far in life without seeing the manifestation of any powers. Noah's own had kicked in right before puberty - and, maybe because he was a watch-from-the-sidelines kind of guy, he'd seen them in others, too. But, it seemed he was the only one. The girl was acting like the ceiling was caving in on her - which, in a way, Noah wished it would. At least then she'd be quiet. "I can see that," he said flatly, eyes on the shocks sprouting from her hands.
He stood a good few feet away, wary about coming any closer - especially so, when the girl started playing with her power and zapping the couch. "You're going to set it on fire," Noah said matter-of-factly. He turned to glance at the kids piled on the floor, hugging each other, then returned his gaze to the girl. "You need to calm down. Getting upset is making it worse." He spoke somewhat coldly, if only because that was the general atmosphere he was used to, but his intentions were sincere. He wanted her to chill the fuck out, so they could figure out what to do. "I'll call the electic company. If we have you near the fuse box, only bad things are going to happen."
