It took Brixie half a second to catch up to where Indigo was, in regards to thinking a banana was something dirty. By the time she got there, she laughed along and shook her head, "Sorry, but I believe it is a syrup. I actually don't like bananas," her eyes widened momentarily and she added, "The actual fruit." Just in case that needed to be cleared up for any reason.
"They like to cut corners around here." Placing a hand to the side of her face and leaning in toward the table a bit more so that what she would tell Indigo wasn't overheard by another customer, or worse, her employer, "They like to put pancake batter in the scrambled eggs as well. To thick them up, you know." She removed her hand, "Not that they taste horrible, but still."
