He goes with her, keeping close by and his hand in hers. All the while he's paying close attention to where they are and where they go; everything he sees, everyone in passing. He doesn't like that they can't get out - he remembers stories of his father and aunt about that place called the City, which they couldn't escape from for half a standard year.
That... cannot happen. They cannot leave their family, their homes. Ben could suffer it, yes, though he wouldn't like it, but Nova? No. He's got to find a way to at least contact the others, for her sake.
