I used to watch this when I was a kid. I don't if it came of TV or if I watched in on VHS... But I do know that the older I get, the more hilarious this cartoon gets. I still CAN'T believe it was banned. Tex Avery was a cartoon genius.

Hi, my name is Dave, and I'm a Macoholic.

Far from an expert myself, I once turned regularly to the Mac-related comms on VileJournal for information and assistance. But, that was then; this is now. In the process terminating my association with VJ, it became clear that there were no such asylums for Mac users here at InsaneJournal. So I created one. Someone had to. Still no expert, it is my hope that macintosh will eventually grow to serve the same purpose as those comms on VJ -- people helping people -- but without the New And Improved™ nanny-state/corporate-whore culture that now poisons VJ from the top down.

We're off to a slow start, but even despite my customary negligence, this asylum has continued to grow, bit by bit. I will continue to post about critical updates for Mac users, and Really Big News in the world of Apple. As things pick up, it may be necessary for me to hand off maitenance/moderation to others, but you have my solemn promise: this asylum will not be orphaned. Unless I die unexpectedly. But I can't seem to find a spot for that on my calendar. So, if you're a Mac user, please join the Macintosh asylum, and help us help each other.

ardathicons is just my little bitty asylum where I post icons I've made and am willing to share. I have a huge backlog of icons to put up in the near future, too. All are work-safe. On most, credit is appreciated but not required (the few exceptions are always noted). It's friends-locked because there was a blatant icon-thief running around IJ a few months ago and I didn't feel inclined to make her hijinks easier, but membership is open, so you can join and enjoy. It won't break your flist either, because I put all of the icons under a cut with a maximum of three teaser images visible above the cut.
