2:56 pm [silara]	Discussion: Why do you like genderswitch? More and more recently, I've been coming across people who don't like genderswitch. While their reasoning is varied, I have seen several people who don't like genderswitch make the claim that they believe that people genderswitch characters because they want to ship yaoi/yuri couples, but are uncomfortable with writing non-heterosexual relationships- but this makes no sense to me, because most, if not all, of the genderswitch writers I've seen actually do write homosexual stories. So, that brings up the question, what is it about genderswitch that is appealing to you to read/write? Current Mood: curious (6 Comments |Comment on this)

3:09 am [icedark_elf]	Fic: Strange Date(FFVII, Zack/Cloud) Another repost. Okay. As we all know, due to laylah's wonderful gendercrack(Strange Materia and Strange Requests), I wrote Strange Places. That spawned a sequel in my head, and now we have Zack and Girl!Cloud on a date. Smut will happen. So very not safe for work. Well, laylah was incredibly nice, and wrote everyone shiny genderswitch cracked called Strange Materia, which I suggest everyone go read, because it is the pretty. Then she wrote a second one, called Strange Requests. Then she replyed to my comment and bunnied me with Aeris/Girl!Cloud. So I begged, and she was kind enough to let me borrow that materia and write it. Zack sneaked in somehow, because he's a horny bastard. But all he does is talk, so it's still mostly Aeris/Girl!Cloud. 11:07 am [silara]	Notice: Genderswitch C2 Alright, so I've recently made a C2 on ff.net: This is a multi-fandom, genderswitch only C2, which I made as a way of pulling together the best genderswitch stories out there.  (That way, we don't have to wade through all of the redundant GS to find them.) The Other Side of Life However, I have a few problems.  Mostly they are that I only have a few fandoms that I myself follow, and outside of them, I have no way of knowing what is good, and what isn't; or even if there is any genderswitch for fandoms outside of those.  So, I'm asking that if you have (or know of) a GS fic in your fandom, and it is posted on ff.net, please let me know!  What I'm looking for, is a well written, well characterized story with an original plot- everything else would be up to your discretion.
