NEDDI is a UK based charity. They moved the sanctuary to Northern France in 2002 because land was cheaper over there.

awwwww, UK. I will have to find one around here for the hubby. We have a donkey at work, I adore when I go out to feed him and he comes trotting over. Full size donkey. Which the owner decided needed a neck bell, just like the goats have. Very unhappy donkey. :-)

I am saving the icons for the hubby. He never uses them, though. Will just look.

You can 'adopt' (sponsor) a donkey from NEDDI no matter where in the world you are. Have a look at the adoption packs that you can give as gifts. I gifted a friend in Australia who was very pleased to receive the details of 'her' donkey.

Anyway, I'm glad you like the icons.

Donkeys

I love donkeys. My grandpa had several on his farm, and as a child I would always go play with them. When I was ten, one of them got sick. The veterinarian was able to help him out. He ended up living another 5 years. http://mysouthbayvet.com (http://mysouthbayvet.com)
