VERONICA LIGHT: A horrifying scene has broken out in the Lower East Side tonight with another attack from the----quite literal----terrorist known as Mr. Fear. A series of small shops and apartment buildings on the corner of Norfolk and Delancey has been hit with a explosion of the 'fear gas' that the city has come to dread. Riots are ongoing and fires have broken out. Police and firefighters have arrived on the scene, wearing gas masks to protect themselves. However, the masks are proving only partially effective in the area with the highest concentration of gas. A blockade has been set up to keep civilians from entering the area. We'll be with you with more as the story unfolds...
