Since arriving at this strange place, Jemma had pretty much kept to herself. She'd gone and seen Daisy a few times, stepped out and ate of course, she wasn't dumb, but generally, stayed in her room. She just wasn't the adventuring type. Her home was the lab and the lab had been taken away from her, so her room was the next best thing. Comforting almost.
The strange candy had arrived a few days before Valentines and not much of sweet eater (give her chips and dip any day), she put it aside for a day when she really, really needed a chocolate fix. Jemma decided not to mention it because the others might covet her stash.
When the knock on the door came, she started slightly, not expecting any company, for she was slightly dozing on the bed in her pj's, but not really sleeping, because it was hard to sleep. She suspected it might be Daisy who was always worried about her since her arrival. But what she wasn't expecting was the strange guy who had a bad sense of humor and she looked at him crosseyed, "Hello?"
