“What did you have in mind?” he asked, not completely sure he wanted the answer. Especially if it was Roman saying that he wanted Peter away from him. “It’s a good thing that I’m not driving. Not that I could here. Island and all.” And even if he could, he wouldn’t want to leave Roman’s side. He liked right where he was at the moment. “Well, you are,” he said with a smile. “What was the point again?” He kinda lost it somewhere in the middle. He glanced over at Nadia who was still asleep in her crib. “No we wouldn’t. She didn’t wake up when I yelled at you.”
It didn’t work. Nothing would work. The cupcake and its affects made sure of that. Roman could probably say he murdered half of the people in the hotel right now and it wouldn’t change how he felt. “No and no.” It wasn’t like there were instructions with the cupcakes and to him it didn’t feel like anything was wrong. “I think it’s both.” It was probably less curiosity and more about annoyance, but Peter was used to it by now. Although, Roman’s questions, at times, did get on his last nerve. When Roman tried to push him away, he just held on tighter. He wasn’t going anywhere. He only loosened his grip when Roman finally stopped fighting and just gave in. “Better,” he said in between kisses.
