Pansy's week so far had been a series of ups and downs. Waking in Roger's bed had definitely been an up but the subsequent nights spent in her own bed had be a series of downs. As much as she wished to have partially alleviate the dreams that plagued her by having someone to cling to when the worst struck, she knew that she couldn't keep interrupting Roger's sleep. He was a Healer and needed his rest more than she.
Besides, she didn't want to give her mother any more ideas. It bothered her when the witch didn't speak her mind as was her want and simply appeared to silently watch her comings and goings.
The office had been a mixed bag. The sheer relief of knowing that Pelham was away and safe (and her odd random contemplations of a certain handsome man in medical robes) had lightened her spirits conciderably. Unfortunately, some of her fellow Wizengamot employees had had the gall to comment upon her attitude crudely. While eviserating the idiots had its own type of satisfaction, she'd've prefered to be able to enjoy her good mood without comment.
But tonight was going to be good. She was going to have fun and catch up with Beatrice and eat strawberry treats.
She just hoped her friend was too upset by the loss of her Great Aunt.
