Summary: Terry's stocking books.

Terry had decided that Thursdays were his favorite days to work at Flourish and Blotts. It was when all the new shipments came in, Astronomy to Transfiguration, Ancient Runes to Wizarding Fiction. The smell of new books was intoxicating, and even stronger since he'd become a werewolf. And that thought in and of itself was disconcerting, so it put it out of his mind.
They'd drawn lots that morning, and Terry had only cheated a tiny bit to ensure he got the Charms section. There were some books he wanted to set aside for himself, and if he was in charge of stocking the, he could slip them secretively to the side before anyone else had a chance to steal it out from under him. It may have been a tiny bit unethical, but it was books, and Terry wouldn't allow himself to feel bad. Because...books!
The Charms section was on the second floor of the shop, in a brightly lit, cheerful corner with squashy chairs that just called out to be curled up and read in. Unfortunately, the last time Terry had tried that he'd been Spoken To by the supervisor. However, he'd devised a nifty little charm of his own, that would sort and put away the books without much interference from him. This meant that as long as Terry looked like he was busy, he could read to his heart's content.
Of course, this meant that his already limited attention span was stretched to the limit, so he didn't notice that someone was looking at the shelf until he'd guided the book to it's slot and whacked them in the head. He looked up from what he was reading, a sheepish look on his face, and tried to act like he hadn't almost given a customer a concussion.
"Er, sorry about that. Do you need help finding something?" He put on his best professional look, and widened his eyes just a little to appear both helpful and innocent. "We just got in the newest edition of Wendellen's Book of Esoteric Charms." He reached out and caught the book that had hit them in the head and waved it like a peace offering. "There's a whole new chapter on Peruvian Concealment Charms."
