RP: Can you burn an entire magazine company in effigy? Date: July 27 Characters: Matthew Stebbins, Katie Bell Location: St. Mungo's and then elsewhere Status: Private Summary: Katie finally gets a glimpse of the newest Witch Weekly. She's less than impressed Completion: InComplete
It had taken months, but Katie had finally managed to convince the other young witches in Sports and Games that she cared nothing at all for Witch Weekly. She thought their advise was a bunch of nonsense and she couldn't care less about the love lives of the famous and infamous. As far as she was concerned, that was only the business of the people involved.
Besides, it depressed her when it was yet again reinforced that blonde though she was, she was several inches too short and several cup sizes to small to ever interest Myron Wagtail. Circe damn all Swedish swimsuit models anyway.
So it was that she missed entirely the newest gossip inspired by the rag until she glanced at a discarded copy in the top of a wastebasket. The all too familiar face of one Neville Longbottom and the screaming headline snagged her attention and sent her bloodpressure shooting right out of the top of her head.
Katherine Bell marched out of the Ministry half an hour before her shift officially ended at five. Once outside, she apparated to St Mungo's where she continued to march right up to the receptionist. "I need to see Matthew Stebbins. Right. Now."
