The Catapults practice went late and today was one of only a handful since she'd been working for them that they'd needed a stand-in. She'd done well, if she did say so herself, and after several practices now the team had begun to throw more difficult plays her way. Not that she was complaining, not at all, she loved it in fact. If only she was able to do it more often.
Her thigh hurt and her arms were sore, but she was ridiculously pleased by the time she finished showering and changing into a pair of shorts and a top. She stuffed her feet into her trainers as she toweled her hair dry and took just enough time to run a brush through it and apply some salve to her thigh before Apparating to Diagon Alley. She had owled Harry to meet her outside the little cafe with the pink umbrellas. If he wasn't hungry yet, they could take a walk first, she had something to show him that she was rather excited about anyway.
He was already there and she really hoped he'd not been waiting long. "Hey!" she exclaimed, hurrying toward him, limping slightly. She beamed up at him as she leaned up to kiss him in greeting. "Sorry I'm late. I didn't keep you waiting long, did I?"
