Twinkle twinkle little bat...how I wonder where you're at.
The day after Reid took off to the Old World, the following items would be seen around the house: IN THE KITCHEN • A big cooler is filled with ice and rows of packed pork chops, chicken breast and ground beef. • A garbage bag full of packed and canned produce, rice (he just assumed this is Japanese because of the label), palm oil, sugar, salt, pepper, soy sauce, vinegar, and new kitchen knives. IN THE DEN. • A rim of cigarettes is left on the table, free for any to get. IN THE LIBRARY. • A new copy of the book The Elegant Universe by Brian Greene is left on the table. ON FROG'S BED. • A bag of Cheetos, a bottle of rootbeer, and three rolls of yarn are slipped inside Frog's pillow case. ON CAS' BED. • A pillow case is filled with packs of AA & DD batteries, bars of antibacterial handsoap, antiseptic, band aids, bug spray, fly nets, candles, and a couple of small flashlights. • A folded note is left on his sheets that says: "I'm sorry I wasn't able to bring lamps, or kerosine back. To replace those for now, I got candles and flashlights. I will make another trip in a week's time and get what I owe you then. - Reid" ON BASH'S BED. • Two pillows, both in orange pillow cases, are left on the mattress. • A folded note is left on his sheets that says: "I know I said I'll be able to work it out, but I wasn't able to bring back everything I needed to-- which sadly included your mattress. I'm sorry, Bash. I've brought you your pillows though, and I hope they're to your liking. I also brought back rice, and a lot of meat and vegetables. It's in the kitchen. Please eat up. I will finish our deal on my next trip back in probably a week's time. - Reid" ON RACCOON'S BED. • A pillow case is filled with a bag of cookies, a new set of markers, and paper (20 sheets of different colored craft paper, and 20 sheets of oslo paper) --- NOTE TO LOSTS THROUGH THE PAPERS. I've stocked up on food in the kitchen. I think that should keep everyone full for the next couple of days. Is there anything else we need to take care of? NOTE TO THE TREEHOUSE THROUGH THE PAPERS. Is everyone OK? Has anyone seen Yates, Courtland, or Sid yet? Maybe it's time we organize search parties for them. Also, if you're hungry, there's plenty of food in the kitchen. I think someone needs to sort the food out to make sure they'll last so if anyone can volunteer to help with that, that would be great. NOTE TO OLIVIA THROUGH THE PAPERS. Where are you? |
