"Yer just so adorable. t'd be a travesty to mangle such a pretty face," was the retort. It spoke volumes about her comfort level with him, that she allowed herself more frequent moments of contact, no matter how small or guarded she still really was. There were those moments, though, when he really drove her up a wall. Then she could feasibly see smacking him around. But general their banter was pretty benign even an innuendo or two slipped out between them.
Rogue was general good-natured about giving out free drinks. She knew most of the guys were good for it. And if the cash was tight, a favor or two from some of the boys always worked in a pinch. Maybe she did have a soft spot for Remy though and didn't mind so much when she succumbed to his charm.
"Yeah, yeah," she muttered, already in the direction of fetching him a beer. "One of these days," she started, turning her head over her shoulder to talk. "One o' these days I'm gonna actually gonna collect. Phhht, won't that be the day," she muttered returning her attention the draft she was pulling.
