Things had gone back to normal in the club after the whole fiasco with the raid. Jeanne-Marie had been able to get away because of Jason's desire to protect his "merchandise," and as much as she almost hated to say it...she did need to thank him. Had she ended up in prison that day, it likely would have been more than just being detained for the night. Her illegal status in the country would have created a monumental problem and she could have been deported. Jail and deportation were the two things that she had come to fear the most, and luckily, both had been avoided on that night. Since then she hadn't been able to stop thinking about it all, no matter what distractions came.
That night, she was at the club, just like always. Dressed to dance. And dance she did. That same familiar sort of high came as she stepped onto the stage and began to move. It was so much easier to stop thinking about...well...just everything. Her thoughts melted away with the music and the way her body just knew to move. Perhaps people would find what she did to be less than tasteful, but there was just something about it all that she couldn't walk away from.
Once she was off the stage, she was missing the sort of good feeling. Dressed in a not at all conservative way, she started what she did when she wasn't on the stage. Milling about on the floor. Even if men were concentrated on what was going on onstage, that didn't mean that they didn't like to flirt and such with the girls at close range.
After trailing her fingers across one man's shoulders and gifting him with a wink, Jeanne-Marie kept on walking. For no real reason in particular, she found herself getting near the VIP section. And that was when she saw Jason. That was where he normally was when he watched the girls. She stopped in her tracks, going back and forth in her mind about what she'd been thinking about. She really did need to thank him...but on the other hand, he still did scare her in a way. Still...she could think of it was a challenge? Jeanne-Marie took a deep breath and tried to get rid of the indecision on her features. She kept walking, making her way into the VIP section with that sultry swing in her hips and the act right back up. She was one of the Hellfire Club girls, after all.
When it seemed like he wasn't really busy, she walked up with a bit of a flirtatious smile on her lips. She'd seen several of the other girls be affectionate with him, so she figured that it wouldn't be too bad if she did the same. She came up behind him, trailing her hands over his shoulders. "Hey, Big Daddy..." It still felt strange to call him that sometimes, but it was part of the job. "Can I talk to you for a second?"
