I Would Kill for a Frank Longbottom Hello rp-land, I'm hoping someone could help my girl, Alice, find her husband, especially since she needs him at two homes!
Darkness Rising, is an extremely active Marauders Era game which takes place during the height of the war in 1978 and is incredibly plot drive. We have an amazing cast of players and an equally awesome cast of characters, everyone is friendly and I'm proud to say that we basically kick ass.
Frank Longbottom is needed A.S.A.P. because Alice and Moody NEED HIM! Frank has significant in-game history, so looking through his tags is strongly suggested. Frank and Alice, childhood friends/sweethearts, eloped in March, during Easter break, during which time, Alice fell pregnant with their first child. They kept their marriage and her pregnancy a secret until school was done with. Alice, who has an abusive father, was attacked by her father in early July and the baby was lost. They are both Auror trainees (they were involved in an early training program while in Hogwarts) and are working small cases under Alastor Moody and Rufus Scrimgeour. We have a huge plot coming up this month where he would be very needed and in general, Alice is going to begin obsessing over cases and someone needs to be around to worry/put her in her place. Also, they eventually have to have Neville, right? I would also LOVE to see a
Xenophilius Lovegood, the
Prewett twins, and a
Peter Pettigrew (all other Marauders are cast and active) to round out some other lines.
The second game where
Mr. Longbottom is needed is
Exodus, a brand new Marauders Era game that will be opening on Halloween and closing next November. That's right, we'll only be open for one year. Why you ask? Because we want to solely explore the final year of the war against Voldemort. The game will be dark, bloody, and yes, characters will die in game. Still interested? The game will open on Halloween, 1980, with the Potters going into hiding and will end the day after their deaths. The time in between will be spend unraveling how they got from point A to point B.
Frank and Alice will be going into hiding sometime after Christmas, after defying Voldemort for a third time. Frank is needed because A. Neville needs his daddy, B. Alice needs her hubby, and C. Because his son is the potential prophecy child so he needs to keep him safe! Not to mention, he's one bad ass, sexy Auror. I would also like to see
Peter Pettigrew and
Sirius Black (we have the best James I've ever played with and a kickass Remus who want them around, plus Peter gets to turn evil in game), along with a
Xenophilius because his pregnant wife needs him.
