Characters: Barty Crouch, Jr. & Regulus Black
Setting: Th. 13 October; after dinner; beginning in the Slytherin Common Room
Content: TBD
It wasn't late - perhaps seven in the evening - but it was dark. Although, it was almost always so in the Slytherin dungeons. Torches hung ablaze every few feet on the damp walls. There were large, ornamented wingback sofas set in conversational positions atop lush rugs in green and silver. Snakes curled around supporting columns, frozen as they hissed. - Yes, the Slytherin Common Room was a very homey place.
Barty was stretched out on a sofa by one of the fires. He was still wearing his school robes, his tie askew. He laid with an arm over his eyes, waiting for Regulus to arrive. He didn't often make it to dinner, anyway, but visited the Kitchens on his own time for meals. Life would have been more convenient if Winky were allowed at school. As it was, he dealt with it.
Anyway.
A set of heavy, black robes were hanging over the back of the sofa Barty was on. It was already very cold out at night. The ground was filled with moisture and leaves had fallen everywhere. It was fall and it seemed Hogwarts was preparing for winter. If Barty and Regulus were going to go traipsing outdoors, they had to be dressed for it. The Sixth Year wasn't too keen on catching cold and having to endure Madam Pomfrey's utterly hateful personality. - So the robes were necessary for Barty's little surprise. He was going to lure his tiny mate out of the castle (strictly forbidden as it was) and into a very dark place in the Forest. And then he'd see how he was feeling.
Now all the little bugger had to do was arrive. Barty sighed.
