"Get your arse in here, ya lug. I'll show you fancy living and spoiled life," Bill laughed as he came out of said room to greet his brother with a hug.
After corresponding with Charlie the day before, Bill had gone over to the Burrows to see how their mother was taking the news about Harry. The young man had been like another one of her children in a lot of ways. So, he wasn't surprised by what he'd found. None of that meant he wasn't thinking about what possible reasons Charlie would have for an extended stay that was "longer than [he'd] like".
But, he was going to let Charlie get to it in his own time.
"Didn't know if you'd eat before you got here. Got some pasties warming in the oven. Go ahead and leave your stuff over there. We can take it up later."
