Sirius laughed aloud, the dog-like bark echoing slightly in the room as he watched his mate go through the motions of dying. "Well, a more clever wizard than yourself would've figured a way out of it, mate. And here I thought you were the most clever wizard in the world," he added before heaving a heavy sigh.
"Generally, I think people flop on their backs when they die, yeah? Could try that way next time. More convincing." Sirius grinned before flicking his wand to unwind the garland before crouching down to roll James onto his back.
Peering down at him, he arched his brows skeptically. "Better now?"
