RP: Visitors Who: Lily, Faus, Sev Where: Spinner's End When: October 17, 2 PM Rating/Warning: Lily is gleeful. It's frightening Summary: Lily has a friend over Status: Complete
Lily had spent the morning (and a fair bit of the day prior) getting the house ready for company. She was doing her absolute level best to keep her giddy moments away from Severus because the last thing she wanted to do was annoy him about this.
Still, it was difficult to abruptly leave the room simply because she was having a gleeful moment. She knew it was silly. Childish, even. But she had such grand imaginings of how it would play out. That Severus would see his son and feel some sort of a bond and just ... accept him.
She knew that was beyond ridiculous and clearly she'd been reading too many cutesy stories, but all the same she was excited by the idea of Faustus being in such close proximity to Severus, that perhaps there'd be a chance encounter of some sort, and it would go well.
Even if not though, if they didn't encounter one another today, Faustus would get to see his father's house, get more of an opinion of the man, and she'd get to spend some time with her friend - if she could be so bold as to consider him among her friends. She didn't see why not though; she liked him a great deal.
Emerald eyes flicked around the kitchen, settling on the plates of biscuits she'd baked that morning. She hadn't known what he'd liked, so she'd gone for chocolate chip, oatmeal, peanut butter, and a cinnamon-sugar creation of her own design.
Her gaze slipped then to the clock and she thought it was close enough - and he might be early. Beaming and all but thrumming with her energy, Lily stepped outside to wait on the porch for their guest.
