RP: This wasn't good Who: Felix, nudging Faus Where: Ministry of Magic, lunch room When: September 15, 2024 Rating/Warnings: None Summary: Felix frets about some misteps his department has been making Status: Complete
Felix had a feeling someone was going to lose his job over this. He also had a sinking feeling that it might be him. Sure, he hadn't even been working in the department when Jeremy was left off the list, but the little werewolf girl ... that had been his. He hadn't known she was a wolf.
There was one more he'd left off this year, too. Some Muggleborn boy whose family lived on a farm so far out in the middle of nowhere that he hardly mattered, but if people started digging around ... it wasn't going to look good. It already didn't look good. Obviously he'd gotten sloppy with the girl and whoever had picked Jeremy had been an idiot. He knew exactly how many he'd left off during the past couple years and while it could possibly be chalked up to incompetence, that would still lose him his job.
He really didn't want to lose his job; he actually liked it. Sighing, he ran a hand through his hair and tried to focus on his lunch instead of the sense of dread that was closing in on him.
