When he saw Remus was himself again, Sirius quickly went for the cage door. He yanked it open and went inside. He carefully pulled Remus away from his bloodied, unconscious, mangle-faced mother, because it would be bad enough without having to look at her. "Here." Once he had Remus settled in the corner, propped up against the wall, he pulled a tiny red vial from an inside pocket. "And I promise it's good, I tested it out." He wouldn't say how many versions and tweaks he had gone through to get it just right. He popped off the cap. It was an antiseptic, scrubbing potion that tested like peppermint; it went in cool, heated up as it bubbled and bleached away anything disgusting (like beech blood), and then cooled down into an ice cream like consistency that also served as a stomach soother. Once the cap was off, he gently but quickly tilted back Remus' head and poured the pink liquid between his lips.
