Golden eyes blinked at Sirius by way of understanding. The wolf could feel the lowering of the moon, it could feel the pull of the sun as it started to draw closer to the dawn. A sleepy blink followed and it looked at it's prey again. She was still out, but the blood was tacky against his flesh. She would live, it would be as Remus had wanted. The wolf stalked away from the woman and it curled a bit, using the tongue to remove the congealing blood from his paws and fur.
In someways, the wolf was like the cat, wanting to remove enough of the blood from the fur while it was still dark and matt. Remus had a problem waking up covered in blood, and already the body was starting to come back to it's orginal human senses. The sound of things smashing was dim, and Remus could easily imagine what was causing it. As the wolf looked around, his eyes darkening a bit... He wanted to burn this house to the ground.
A long howl followed, and the sound shifted as the procresses started to reverse itself. The wolf's body contorted as he screamed. Bones shortened as muscles and sinew tightened over them and the human pieces were reformed. Remus was sure it hurt worse to come back from being a wolf then it did to turn in the first place. When Sirius came back into the room, Remus Lupin was himself again, all wet and trembling, and heaving violently on top of the woman's form.
