"Am I the unpleasant one? One would think that someone as arrogant, irritating, and rude as you would be the cause of this unpleasant situation." Everything about him was bother Eleanore, grating her nerves to the point where she wanted to reach over and cause him enough pain to wipe that irritatingly self-satisfied smirk off of his face. He seemed perfectly content to just sit there, amused while she was strung with annoyance. He was feeling just as angry as she was a short moment ago she knew and now she seemed to be the only one with the problem. Feeling like she was being the irrational one was bothering her more than a bit. "And do not call me 'love'. I am not some little girlfriend of yours. You do not know me, nor will you ever."
She uncrossed her arms and pulled out the free chair, seating herself with all the grace and dignity that she could muster, primly threading her fingers together on the table top. "Believe me, I am not hurt by the lack of a conversation with you. I'm sure there are other idiotic things I could waste my time on." The cup of coffee was brought to her lips for a delicate sip. "I will give you five minutes to finish your drink and then take your leave."
