"God, there you are. I thought I was yelling on some random piece of wood and some person I didn't know would come out and assume I was some sort of... birthday present or something. I'm glad it turned out to be you." She shaded her eyes as she looked up at him, looking much like a prettier cleaner female shadow of him. The boat was elevated enough that she had to look up, and she was tall enough that she wasn't used to looking up at someone.
Kai, however, was a beast of a man, and was taller than her by a good amount. "How am I supposed to get on this god-awful thing? I've never been on a fishing boat before, and I'm left a little afraid to guess."
He was looking a little expectant, as if he wanted to know exactly what she wanted. To let him know, she waved the yellow envelope in the air. "I've got papers for you. One signature and we're free from each other, and you'll get a free meal from wherever you'd like. My treat, like I promised."
Her smile was charming, as always, and her excitement was very clear. She was ready to be 'free', as she put it, no matter how short it would last. Hopefully he would be compliant, sign her paper, and everything would be set. If she had to argue her point, she would. Long and loudly. Once, of course, he told her how to get on this boat.
