Who: Eleanore Bardou and Anyone interested in joining in When: Sunday, June 5th, 2049 - Mid-Afternoon Where: Pummy-Ummy-Umpkins Baby Store Rating: PG more than likely Summary: Eleanore can't resist a slight bit of curiosity during a day of shopping. Warnings: Er, general Eleanore bitchiness? xD
The moment that Eleanore Bardou stepped into the cozy little shop, she almost immediately regretted it. It was bustling with people, couples holding hands and cooing over tiny articles of clothing, other couples who wandered around looking completely uncomfortable, and people who were obviously there for the same reason she was. Curiosity. Sneering a bit, she pushed her large sunglasses up so they perched on top of her head and moved farther into the store.
Eleanore had been on one of her frequent shopping trips --the need to relieve some stress in the form of spending money on things she really did not need becoming more and more commonplace-- when she had decided to step inside. She drove by the store every day on her way to work and her eyes never failed to trail towards it, it was glaringly out of place in comparison to all the other buildings downtown so that was not much of a surprise. Today though she had finally decided to satisfy her curiosity and actually step inside. She had stepped out of a clothing boutique, thinking about heading back to her apartment and being in the company of Miles when she had spotted the store across the street. Shopping bag in hand she had crossed over and now here she was, starting to wonder if it had been such a good idea to come here after all.
Sighing with mild irritation, Eleanore hiked her shopping back up on her shoulder and pushed past a couple of giggling college girls, shooting a glare over her shoulder at them as she did so. Manicured hands brushed at the bottom of her sleeveless, tan dress. She barely suppressed a shudder at the thought of the girl's plain cotton hoodie brushing against the silk infused fabric of her dress. At least tackiness wasn't contagious. She wandered around the store, picking up onesies with pictures of apples and bananas and things like 'Fruitful Baby' written on them and fairly tossing them back down. She ended up in a slightly less crowded area, a sunlit room filled with nothing but what looked like girl clothing. She picked up a pair of pale pink socks, running her fingers over them in amazement at how soft and small they were. What in the world could wear something so tiny?
