Sunset was always a difficult time to shoot; the light never seemed to work for her, but when it did, it was amazing. Still, she'd rather take her photos before.
Frankly, she wasn't too happy about her assignment. Her professor told her that, since she already had enough abstract and cityscape photographs for the year, that she needed some glamour shots. Ugh, glamour shots. Everything superficial and materialistic smashed into a single photograph. Gwyneth could practically taste her disgust as she set up on the beach, a couple of yards away from the damp shoreline. Her friend, Lenny, sat in one of the metal chairs Gwyneth had brought, eating a bagel.
"Thanks for helping out, Lenny." Gwyneth said, flicking some hair out of her face. Her tone didn't exactly scream appreciative, but it was a thank you, which was pretty rare for Gwyneth.
"No problem," Lenny replied, kicking his make-up kit with his foot. "I just hope your models don't come here looking totally jacked."
"Heh. You and me both." She knew people would come. Who didn't want their photos taken? Gwyneth chuckled, thinking of all the rail-thin models she had encountered n California, begging for fame. It was like throwing out a slice of bread to starved pigeons.
