She was making this easy on him. He wasn't going to complain, but he was somewhat suspicious. Things that came easy always had some sort of string attached. Perhaps she was going to want something from him. Maybe she knew who his parents were and expected to live a lavish life on their money. He narrowed his eyes. Something was off, and he was determined to find out what it was.
"If you want pictures, get it set up." He, personally, thought the idea was ridiculous. He knew what he looked like, and he knew what she looked like, and he doubted that look was going to change come their wedding day. But if she wanted pictures, so be it. He'd comply. Nana always said he had to be a little giving from time to time. He'd consider that his giving.
Where did they go from here? He had no idea. What did she want from him? He couldn't figure out what she was hinting at or if she was hinting at anything at all. But he wasn't letting his guard down.
"You can start bringing things to my apartment if you want. You're allowed to make changes to your room or whatever, I don't care." He reached into his back pocket and pulled out the papers he had back there and tore off a corner. "Got a pen?"
