Who: Madeleine Bradley and OPEN When: May 1st, 2049 Where: Innovo Botanical Gardens and State Park Rating: At least PG-13, but it could go up. Summary: Maddy is on the prowl. Warnings: ...It's Maddy. Need I say more?
The time she had spent with Jayden had been far too short for her liking. Of course, she did not like long-term, she'd even told him that, but... Only once? It was disappointing. She had to pause, though. Perhaps this was best. Jayden was the type of person she might, might have gotten attached to if things had lasted too long.
Of course, once he found out she had no desire to work, he'd have been unhappy and left. That would have been even more frustrating than losing him to his morals. He was old-fashioned enough to care that he was getting married. ...Or at least right now. Madeleine smiled to herself. Who was to say that, if she stayed in touch, he might not go out to dinner with her eventually? Of course, it'd be as friends. Her eager for his company, him eager for a night away. A few quiet words over a glass of wine, she would comfort him, offer support... and who was to say his morals might not lapse?
She didn't feel guilty thinking about it, just as she didn't feel guilty about being in Innovo State Park, dressed to impress. She wore heeled sandals, glad to be without stockings today. Today, it was simplicity. She wore a white summer dress that ended just above the knees with sleeves that ended above the elbows.. Its round neck was higher than she usually wore, but a light brown belt (to match her sandals) made sure it was just tight enough to show off her bust just enough.
She wondered how many others would come to May Day alone. They were not really her concern, though. The ones she was interested in were the men dragged against their will and then abandoned when their girlfriends or fiancees (especially those engaged against their will, as the Fruitful law was bound to supply her with in the coming months) and then abandoned when those dates found female friends or wanted to continue taking in the sights after their men were tired of it all.
Madeleine pulled her hair back as she walked down one of the many dirt paths, seeming to enjoy the look of the land while she really scanned the people, looking for the tale tell signs in those she saw for the ones who did not want to be here.
